Hear no evil, see no evil
Looking for what I heard about some attacks on protesters at Canadian Parliament today during question hour or something, I stumbled upon this amazing snippet:
A man screaming about devil worship drove a vehicle up several flights of stairs leading into the Canadian Parliament before he was overcome by police. The man drove to the front door of Parliament's main building, police said, narrowly missing a maintenance worker. ...???
Anyways, finding no real photo to accommodate either of these stories I went with this monkey. Isn't he sooo cute?

watch the heater!
I pride myself on being a handyman, but I know enough to admit being a klutz. I accidentally kicked over our space heater and it just stopped working. So after completely dismantling it, cutting wires with the exacto, removing the stickers that said "please don't remove these or you'll get electrocuted", all i was left with was a cold appartment, and a pile of plastic garbage (see above).

KD...not to be confused with Kraft Dinner
This is my home-girl Kelsey Dundon, and we worked together at Traction Creative in scenic Yaletown. I'd say she was a creative director, or a writer...but really she's just awesome. She wore a shirt I made for this photo-shoot for an online magazine called Contra. Kelsey has a fashion blog where she's featured our one-off tees in an article titled "two mikes, two shirts". Her blog is The Anthology. So drink it in Canada...and whoever else.

Puppet Bangmaster Bongo Baboon Shines
The following is an excerpt describing a certain manifesto from Corey Adam's portfolio page (http://tinyvices.com/BANG_MASTER_GENERALS_WARNING) detailing film projects he worked on with Jeffro Halladay(I believe it to be written by one J.L.):
"High level madmen side hard with the children and run for their lives in the ball universe of the Bang Master General. Like an animal kingdom of insane symbols, wretched mystery governs this golden dump. It is a street and alley puzzle shop into which a handful of savagely ignorant, brilliantly pitched minds have been inserted. Can they play with madness? Go and heed the “Master’s Warning”. Riddling wastelands of camouflaged breakdown, here is where a filthy cast of peacock warriors, a bravado possee of high male exoticism, play out their mutual and conflicting destinies under the chilling scrutiny of - PUPPET. The plastic puppet sweats from the ominpresent cornice of his piercing brow. His deeply unnerving ventriloquist’s smile can crush one’s poor esteem and accuse him before heaven of his blunder. Puppet is the Silent Witness, to some the very heart of self doubt, icy slopes, the art sin Jesus, the only begotten Puppet. Can these seductive madmen not break the golden rule? Seeking to survive in trash cinema, this coarse art has been made to trade like savage furs bartered for civilian guns. You are invited to peer into this puppet watched world from outside the walls with the dogs and the sorcerers. Here at last is the normality antidote. Ripped in half is the ancient balance symbol. Nostalgia for old blindfolds. Utopia is blown. Cynicism reeks. New world, detached world, a world not of this one but in it. Festivities of low esteem, rites of destruction, no longer is it grandma's livingroom out there. Eavesdroppers pilgrammage, dirtbag’s crystal palace, the klown sessions have ended, all the superhero outfits have party stains, the unwitting thespians of the half finished play are blacked out drunk. The economy is halloween. It is the brain that never gets dressed up that never gets paid."
